Lamb Fricassee With Lettuce - Serves 4
PREPARATION AND COOKING Saute Meat and Onions in Butter. Sprinkle with Flour and mix well. Add lettuce, 4 cups hot water, Salt, Pepper and Parsley. Simmer covered until Meat is tender.
Egg and Lemon Sauce
Beat Egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of hot water. Add Lemon juice and ½ cup of the Lamb gravy, continue beating for a while.
Pour Egg mixture gradually over Meat and gravy, stirring all the time. |
